Patrick Garr has extensive manufacturing knowledge and experience, particularly related to operations consumables and direct materials, and he has worked with numerous clients across North America.
Patrick joined ERA Group, formerly Expense Reduction Analysts, in 2008, bringing over 20 years of expertise as an industrial engineer/business architect and supply chain/strategic sourcing leader within high-volume manufacturing environments. Patrick partners closely with Travis Cantrell; collectively, the Garr-Cantrell team has delivered an average savings of 16.1% on more than 125 completed projects, reviewing >$150MM in expenditure, with combined savings in excess of $24MM.
Within his areas of focus, Patrick has extensive knowledge in numerous areas of manufacturing consumables (packaging, factory consumables, chemicals, lab supplies, and industrial gases) and direct material (steel/Aauminum, PCB/As, cable assemblies, and other various COGS/BOM) with particular expertise and supplier relationships in corrugated cartons, food/pharma packaging, industrial chemicals and gases, lab supplies, and vendor managed inventory solutions.
Background & Experience:
Before joining ERA, Patrick was a senior business architect for Intel Corporation, the global microchip manufacturing giant. During his 12+ year career there, he delivered global supply chain, capital equipment procurement, and business process design solutions, resulting in savings of over $80 million. He was responsible for process design, analysis, redesign, implementation, and measurement, and this experience prepared him well to deliver great results for his ERA clients.
